State Employees Credit Union (SECU) Partnership East is an East Carolina University College of Education degree completion partnership with North Carolina community colleges. Students graduate with a four-year degree in elementary education, middle grades education, or special education from East Carolina University by completing the first two years of the program at any one of our partnering community colleges followed by taking ECU courses online. This degree completion partnership is designed specifically for students that transition from a North Carolina community college.

Bridge to Professional Advancement in Nursing Partnership

The Richmond Community College Bridge to Professional Advancement in Nursing Partnership with Gardner-Webb University provides a seamless ADN-to-MSN pathway for RichmondCC nursing students. Students who are accepted into RichmondCC's ADN program are dually accepted into the Davis RN-to-BSN program in the Hunt School of Nursing at GWU with a seamless pathway to the Master of Science in Nursing (Education/Administration).

Degree Completion Program

GWU offers several pathway agreements for RichmondCC students. The purpose of these agreements is to articulate the requirements and procedures to facilitate graduates from RichmondCC's Associate of Applied Science programs in pursuing the corresponding degree of Bachelor of Science with GWU's Degree Completion Program. Students accepted must comply with all applicable academic regulations as listed in the GWU Degree Completion Program. Pathway agreements: AA to BS Elementary Education; AAS Accounting to BS Accounting; AAS Business Administration to BS Business Administration; AAS Business Administration to BS Entrepreneurship; AAS Criminal Justice to BS Criminal Justice; AAS Healthcare Mgt Technology to BS Healthcare Mgt.; AAS Human Services to BS Human Services; AAS HS Substance Abuse to BS Human Services; AAS HS Social Services to BS Human Services; AAS IT Cyber Security to BS Computer Science-Cyber Security; and ADN to BSN.

Bulldog Bound

Bulldog Bound is a co-admission agreement between Richmond Community College and Gardner-Webb University that offers direct-entry pathways for students upon graduation. This partnership ensures a smooth transition for students completing an AA, AS, or AAS degree, allowing them to continue their education either through Gardner-Webb’s traditional residential undergraduate program in Boiling Springs or the fully online Degree Completion Program.

The Aggie Plus Program

This is a co-admissions program designed to provide prospective RCC transfer students a seamless transition to NCATSU.  This program will provide transfer students targeted advising from an Aggie Plus advisor at RichmondCC and A&T; priority review in the university’s admissions process; an Aggie Plus program orientation session at RichmondCC at the beginning of each fall term; and an Aggie Plus program visit day at A&T during the spring term.

Aggie Commitment Trailblazer Scholars (ACTS) Program

The ACTS program is a science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) pathways program to broaden participation in STEM. Students underrepresented in STEM and pursuing the Associate in Science or Associate of Engineering degrees with the intent to enroll at N.C. A&T to major STEM) are eligible to apply. N.C. community college students may apply and commit to the ACTS program in their first year of community college*. Early commitment to ACTS will provide a seamless transition from community college to N.C. A&T and several other benefits.

Dual Enrollment Agreement/Reverse Transfer Between UNCP and RCC

With this agreement, UNCP and RCC establish a dual enrollment program.  The purpose of this program is to allow students to enroll at both institutions simultaneously in order to make the transfer process seamless.  Additionally, this agreement will be a catalyst for student success in completing both the associate and bachelor degrees in the most efficient and timely manner.

UNCW works closely with Richmond Community College to ensure a seamless transfer process. The Pathways to Excellence program is a pathway for guaranteed admission to UNCW for students completing an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, or Associate of Engineering with a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) in transferable college-level coursework.
