Learn what you need to know to launch your own freight dispatching business in this three-day class, including learning how to communicate with shippers and brokers, booking and navigating loads, and negotiating freight rates. You will also learn about the different types of equipment, as well as safety and compliance. This course will combine theory with hands-on practice, giving students the knowledge and confidence to start a successful at-home career in freight dispatching.

Richmond Community College and Fayetteville Technical Community College offer an articulated pathway allowing students to complete two semesters at RichmondCC before transferring to FTCC to graduate with a degree in Funeral Service Education.

This one-day course will satisfy continuing education requirements outlined in the Continuing Education General Statue 87-10.2, which states that North Carolina licensed general contractors were required to complete continuing education (CE) beginning with 2021 license renewals. Eight hours of continuing education must be completed in order to renew a license by at least one qualifier for licensees in the license classifications of building, residential and unclassified. For the unclassified license, it shall be the qualifier who has passed the building examination.

Students will learn the common parts of the guitar and proper maintenance, basic chords and how to smoothly switch between different chords. Students need to supply their own guitar.
