Nursing Student Receives ‘Great 100 Nurses’ Scholarship

Knowing how hard White is working to become a nurse, the faculty in RichmondCC’s Nursing Department felt she was an excellent candidate for this scholarship.

Ohio Student Advancing His Training in the Substation Program

Nathan Fiant was working as a substation technician for Pike Electric in Ohio when he learned that he could really advance his career by earning an associate degree from a school called Richmond Community College in Hamlet, N.C. That was when he first heard about the Electric Utility Substation & Relay Technology program and how it was propelling highly trained relay technicians straight into the utility industry after two years.
Meltons Continue Daughter's Legacy with Nursing Scholarship

John and Cherryl Melton of Cheraw suffered a terrible loss in February 2006 when their daughter, Kimberly, was killed in an automobile accident. She was enrolled in Richmond Community College’s Nursing Assistant program at the time. It was her dream to become a nurse.
