Degree

Richmond Community College students can earn a degree in Paralegal Technology from Fayetteville Technical Community College after completing two semesters of study at RichmondCC and transferring to FTCC. Paralegals work under the supervision of attorneys by performing routine legal tasks and assisting with substantive legal work.

Certificate

This 31-hour refresher course meets all objectives required under the national requirements of the NRP renewal standards. No specialty courses are included in this fast paced course. There is a $30 NAEMT fee due to the CAHEP accreditation of this program. This affiliation with the NAEMT and the accreditation will allow you to import the course directly in to your NRP education profile and save you a great deal of time accounting for individual education objectives.

The Paramedic certification course provides you with the knowledge, skills and attributes to provide advanced emergency medical care for critical and emergent patients, and prepares you to enter the workforce as a certified paramedic. This program meets the NCOEMS and National EMS Education Standards and AHA guidelines.

This course provides students with the training and education required to pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board’s national exam to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician. Because this is a hybrid course with online assignments, students are required to have access to a computer and the Internet.

This one-day course is designed to meet the training requirements set by the NC Department of Transportation to certify oversize-overweight load escort vehicle drivers, as required by G.S. 20-119 and detailed in 19A NCAC 02D.0644. Course components consist of defensive driving, escort driver requirements, skills training, and an exam.

The Practical Nursing program prepares students to become Licensed Practical Nurses by combining classroom study with hands-on experience. They learn how to provide essential bedside patient care and medical support under the supervision of doctors and registered nurses.

A Licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist is a vital member of the healthcare team whose primary focus is maintaining and/or improving a patient’s respiratory effort.

Gain the skills to become a small engine mechanic by taking this introductory course that will provide you with instruction on disassembly, inspections, cleaning and repairs of small engines.

The Addiction and Recovery Studies concentration prepares students to assist in drug and alcohol counseling, prevention-oriented educational activities, rehabilitation with recovering clients, managing community-based programs, counseling in residential facilities, and pursuit of four-year degrees.
