Course Requirements
Community college graduates must obtain a grade of "C" or better in each course and an overall GPA of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale in order to transfer with a junior status. Courses may also transfer through bilateral agreements between institutions.

Transfers
Fayetteville State University accepts transfers from RichmondCC, provided students meet the transfer requirements (different depending on the number of credit hours the student wants to transfer)
UNC Wilmington is a signatory school on articulation agreements with the North Carolina Community College System. These agreements makes it easier for students to complete four-year degrees at UNCW . Programs that UNCW accepts are: Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, AAS Early Childhood Education and AAS in Human Services.
Community College and Gardner-Webb University are constantly striving to enhance community college student access to Gardner-Webb programs and degrees. The parties recognize that curricular changes occur periodically, and that executing a new agreement each time either party makes a change is inefficient and burdensome. Therefore, to the extent that either party makes curricular changes that are purely technical in nature or that serve to enhance community college students’ ability to matriculate to Gardner-Webb, either party may implement such changes upon providing prior notice to the other party, to include the specific proposed changes. Unless either party objects within 30 days of notice, the curricular changes shall go into effect at that time, and the attached Transfer Pathway Plan will be so amended as necessary to reflect the changes. To the extent that the AAS Transfer Pathway Plan is changed, Gardner-Webb will provide a revised version and post it on its website. Any other types of changes shall be in writing and be executed by authorized representatives of each institution.
This is agreement facilitates the transfer of students with an Applied Science Degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice and Nursing (RN-BSN). Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA to be admitted. Application fees are waived.
Eligibility Community college students* who meet the following criteria are eligible to participate: are continuously enrolled (fall and spring semesters) at their community college are on track toward completion of an eligible two-year associate degree transfer program Early college and other innovative high school students are eligible to participate (Early College students should apply as a First-Year student through our Common App application). *Students in the Career & College Promise transfer pathway are not eligible to apply while still enrolled in high school. Students who graduate from high school and then continue at the community college are eligible.

This transfer program ensures guaranteed admission to UNCP for students who attend any college in the North Carolina Community College System and complete an associate degree. Admission into a handful of specific majors, such as Nursing, Music, Musical Theater, and Art, is dependent upon meeting additional admission criteria. The Richmond Community College Guarantee Partnership with Gardner-Webb University provides a seamless AA/AS/AAS pathway for Richmond Community College Guarantee students to their choice of the traditional undergraduate residential program on the Boiling Springs campus or the Degree Completion Program offered fully online. Students who qualify for the Richmond Community College Guarantee are dually accepted into Gardner-Webb as part of the acceptance process at RichmondCommunity College.

To receive guaranteed admission through WCU Connect, transfer students must: Be currently enrolled at a participating institution in a degree-seeking capacity. Submit a complete WCU application for admission and records by published deadlines. Pay the application fee or request a waiver. Be in good academic standing and demonstrate good conduct. Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5, and at least a 2.2 GPA in their most recent term. Earn an associate degree from a participating college. Enroll at WCU within one academic year of degree completion. Complete the WCU Connect Form.
